DESCRIPTION:As we move into the month of August\, I wanted to get our meeting notice out a little earlier than usual. I will be on vacation for part of the month and will be returning just in time for our August meeting. \nOur July meeting featured a great day on the golf course\, with plenty of memorable shots some spectacular and some we would all like to forget! For those who joined us\, thank you for making it another enjoyable outing. For those who passed up the opportunity to witness “golf at its finest\,” you will have another chance before our August meeting. \nWe currently have three foursomes with available openings for golf at Windham Golf Course. Tee times are scheduled for 1:00 p.m.\, 1:10 p.m.\, and 1:20 p.m. If you would like to join us for an afternoon of fun\, camaraderie\, and friendly competition\, please text Chief Thurz at (860) 250-3578 to reserve your spot.  \nWe are pleased to welcome Matt Mullen\, Vice President of AI Strategy at First Due. Matt brings more than 20 years of frontline experience as a firefighter\, paramedic\, and FEMA Urban Search & Rescue operator. \nHis presentation\, “AI in the Fire Service: What’s Changing and Why It Matters\,” will explore how artificial intelligence is beginning to transform the fire service. \nAs always\, the meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. with social time\, and our guest speakers will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. \nLocation: Windham Golf Course\n184 Club Rd\, North Windham\, CT 06256 \nRSVP
