About Connecticut Fire Chiefs Association
Mission
The mission of the organization is to promote the position of Chief Fire Officers in Connecticut as the leaders of the fire service through continuing education, unity in the fire service, safety, and professionalism as a fire officer. The association is involved in legislative issues, training, regulatory and many other facets of the fire service.
Why should I join CFCA?
Organized in 1902, The Fire Chiefs Association consist of Chief Officers from all across the state that are interested in continued education in the fire service, networking with other professionals dealing with topics from basic firefighting, organizational issues all the way up to state and national issues that face the fire service daily. We are a group that will listen and promote your concerns. We meet monthly and offer the membership a number of educational topics.
